The Empire Hotel, 44 West 63rd Street · Upper West Side, beside Lincoln Center
The Empire Hotel is Chuck Bass's hotel in Gossip Girl, and unlike many television locations it is a real, working hotel you can walk into. The red neon sign above the entrance is the detail most fans recognise from the exterior shots.
It sits on West 63rd Street just off Broadway, a minute from Lincoln Center and a short walk from Columbus Circle and the south-west corner of Central Park. The lobby and rooftop bar are open to the public, so guests often come back later in the evening.
